why wet balayage…? 💧✨

most people think balayage has to be done on dry hair — but wet balayage is one of my favorite ways to create the softest, most seamless blonde.

here’s why ↓

• the hair is already evenly saturated, so the lightener distributes more consistently
• you get a more diffused lift = no harsh lines, no patchiness
• it’s perfect for blending extensions + natural hair together (aka invisible grow out)
• gives that “expensive”, melted blonde instead of stripey highlights

on her, i wanted a super soft, dimensional blonde that would grow out effortlessly — so i went in with blondme lightener on wet hair to keep everything blended + controlled

then finished with igora vibrance at the root to melt everything together and keep it glossy, lived-in, and low maintenance

this is how you get blonde that still looks good weeks later 🤍
