I’m so excited to announce the next Wholistically U! A community health seminar created to bring practical, whole-person wellness education to our community.
As the owner of Allora Massage & Spa and a Licensed Massage Therapist with 20 years of experience, I’ve seen firsthand how deeply connected our bodies are. Stress, recovery, movement, nutrition, nervous system regulation, and intentional self-care all influence how we feel and function.
That’s why I created Wholistically U.
I’ll be joined by an incredible panel of local professionals as we explore the four pillars:
Fuel • Move • Regulate • Restore
I’ll also be sharing on nervous system regulation, recovery, massage, and phototherapy, with practical takeaways you can use in everyday life.

Your body is always communicating. The question is: are you listening? 🤍
Sometimes the signs are obvious. Other times, they become so familiar that we start calling them “normal.”
Tight shoulders.
Waking up stiff.
Clenching your jaw.
Headaches showing up more often.
Stretching without ever really feeling loose.
Or repeatedly saying, “I need to book a massage.”
Massage can help support more than relaxation. It can be part of how you care for your body before tension and discomfort keep building.
Think of it as checking in with your body, not waiting until it’s had enough.
How many of these signs sounded familiar?
Drop your number below 👇
And if you’ve been saying, “I really need a massage,” this is your sign to finally book it.

Massage can support your body in different ways depending on what you need that day.
One session may be focused on relieving tension through the neck, shoulders, jaw, hips, or low back.
Another may be about improving mobility and helping stiff or restricted areas move more comfortably.
Massage can also support recovery after workouts, long workdays, travel, repetitive movement, or physically demanding routines.
And sometimes the goal is less physical and more about body awareness, noticing where you hold tension, how your breathing changes, or where your body has been compensating.
That’s why every session can feel different.
Your stress level, sleep, activity, hydration, sensitivity, and overall workload can all influence what your body needs on the table.
Different goals. Same intention: thoughtful, individualized care for the body you live in every day. 🤍
What are you needing most right now: relaxation, tension relief, mobility, recovery, or nervous system support?

Exciting news! ✨
Mona is opening her books for Saturdays and Sundays through the end of the year.
If you’ve been waiting to get on her schedule, now is the time to book before they fill. Weekend appointments are limited and likely won’t last long. 🤍
If a weekday appointment has been hard to make work, this is your chance to grab a time that fits your schedule.

Fall into feeling better. 🍂
Cozy season is here, and your body deserves care through the change of seasons.
Cooler weather, busier routines, and the shift into fall can all show up in the body as tension, stiffness, low energy, or that “I need a break” feeling.
Massage can support relief, mobility, recovery, and quiet time for yourself.
Make space for your body this season. 🤍

“Is it okay if I don’t want deep pressure?”
Absolutely. Deeper does not automatically mean better.
Massage should never feel like something you have to “tough out.” Your comfort matters, and the amount of pressure can be adjusted throughout the entire session.
Some days your body may respond better to lighter, slower work. Other days, a little more pressure may feel good. The goal is not to see how much pressure you can handle. The goal is to use the right techniques and pressure for what your body needs that day.
And please speak up during your session. We love feedback. You are not being difficult, picky, or hurting our feelings. 😂
Your massage should be customized to you.

Cold, rainy days have a way of making the body feel a little heavier.
Shoulders creep up.
Muscles feel tighter.
Energy slows down.
And suddenly, staying cozy sounds like the best plan.
That’s your reminder: this is a beautiful day to take care of your body.
Massage can help you soften tension, warm up tired muscles, and give yourself a quiet break from the gray.

What if I fall asleep… and snore during my massage? 😴😂
Short answer: please do.
Falling asleep during a massage usually means your body is relaxed enough to let go for a little while. And if a snore sneaks out? Trust me, you would not be the first. 😂
You do not need to apologize, stay awake, or feel embarrassed. This is your time to rest.
So if you wake yourself up with a little snort, just know your massage therapist has probably heard it before… and may secretly take it as a compliment. 😉

“Do I need to shave my legs before my massage?” 😂
Nope. Not even a little.
Your massage therapist truly does not care if you shaved this morning, last week, or sometime back in 2024. We’re focused on your muscles, tension, movement, and helping you feel better.
Come exactly as you are.
• Shaved legs? Great.
• Unshaved legs? Also great.
• Forgot this was even something you worried about until you got in the car? Very normal. 😂
Your comfort matters far more than your razor.
