This Tuesday, October 6, I turn 52, and my son turns 28! Today, I received the most beautiful early birthday surprise from my incredibly talented little sister, Jill Taylor—a gorgeous new window at LAHVDAH.

If you’ve admired the furniture in my boutique, you’ve admired Jill’s work. She has transformed nearly every piece in my store. She knows me. She gets me. And she pours her time, her heart, and so much love into everything she creates.

Look closely, and you’ll see more than beautiful furniture. You’ll find red birds, butterflies, names, and meaningful little details tucked into her art. Those touches mean more to me than I can put into words. Every piece holds something special. ❤️

I think I have the most beautiful window on High Street—and a store just as beautiful inside! From our wonderful products and amazing staff to our unique pieces, LAHVDAH has a heart all its own. Jill is such a big part of that.

This woman has more talent in her little fingernail than I have in my whole body! But her greatest gift is who she is. She is beautiful inside and out, and God’s love shines through her—in her kindness, her generosity, and the way she loves people.

Jill, thank you for loving me so well. Thank you for every hour, every thoughtful detail, and every piece of yourself you’ve poured into my store. This birthday gift made me feel so loved. I’m happy, humbled, grateful, and blessed to call you my little sister. Best birthday gift ever. ❤️
