Behind the chair at the salon, I have the privilege of hearing so many of your stories, your struggles, and the things you carry silently with you every day. I hear your heartbreak, your hopes, your prayers, and the grief that so often goes unseen by the world. Today is a hard day for me, too, as someone who has experienced pregnancy loss and understands that this kind of grief changes a piece of your heart forever. I want each and every one of you who has experienced this unfathomable loss to know that the Parlour is more than just a salon. It is a safe space for you to show up exactly as you are, on the good days and the really hard ones, both mom and dad. You never have to pretend to be okay here. Whether you need a coffee, a shoulder to cry on, a relaxing service to take your mind off things for a little while, or simply someone to sit and listen, we are here for you. We will listen with every second we have, love you through whatever you may be feeling, and remind you that you never have to carry it all alone. Your babies matter. Your stories matter. Your grief matters. And you matter, always. Today, we remember the babies who are forever loved, forever missed, and forever a part of our hearts. To every mama and family carrying this kind of loss, we are holding space for you today and every day. You are loved more than you know. 🤍🕊️
