Precious clients and friends, as you may already know Danette went to be with our Lord and Her precious Gary today !!! Danette was such a gift, she came to the shop at a very rough time in our lives. She became not only a coworker but a very dear friend. I ask that you pray for her family and friends, and also for me!! It was very difficult to explain to her clients that she was sick and would no longer be working!!! But it’s going to be even harder to tell them she has passed. We are truly going to miss her in every way!!! Thank you for your prayers, Tim and Jackie

Danette here! It is time for another difficult post. I was pretty sure that I had met my quota for the year. This one is not as difficult as some have been. It is true that I have cancer also…. Many lesions in my brain. One in my lung and several in my spine. It is so widespread that the doctors don’t really know where it started.(for all that continue to ask!) I will no longer be able to do hair. The brain cancer has affected my balance and strength. I have been ready to give up the business since Gary became sick last March. The balancing of my home life with the often unreasonable demands of a very public job killed any zeal I still had for my occupation. If I survive in this earthly realm, fine…..If not I will joyfully go find Jesus and my sweet Gary. I do not put my hope and faith in this world! It is not my home! Much love to all that have loved me through the last year with kindness, compassion, and patience. As for my bit of advice for any that want it, Make the memories people!They are what you will so appreciate in the end.
