One thing I love about the South Bay is how an ordinary afternoon can so easily turn into something special 🌊✨
I picked up the new Beach Babe Bowl from Paradise Bowls and walked over to Sand Spa for a beauty bag IV + pedicure, and it genuinely felt like the perfect reset.
As a busy mom and entrepreneur, anytime I can double-stack self care, I’m in.
Supporting local spots that make you feel good inside and out will always be my thing. I left feeling nourished, hydrated, relaxed, and fully pampered all at the same time.
If you’re looking for a little glow-up day in the South Bay… this is your sign 🤍

You asked for it. My favorite detox soup that is vegan, gluten free and so yummy you will lick the bowl 👅.
I am just learning how to take proper food photo’s so please don’t judge my current photography skills 🤪.
INGREDIENTS:
•2 tablespoons coconut or avocado oil
•1/2 yellow onion, chopped (skip if you have sensitivity)
•2 cloves chopped garlic (skip if you have sensitivity)
•1/2 tablespoon fresh minced ginger or sub 1 tablespoon powdered.
•1 teaspoon fresh grated turmeric or sun 1/2 teaspoon powdered
•1 teaspoon sea salt
•3/4 teaspoon black pepper
•2 cups broccoli florets (frozen is 👌)
•1/2 head of cauliflower florets (frozen is 👌)
•1 large zucchini, chopped
•1 fennel bulb, chopped
•4 cups low-sodium veggie broth + 1/2 cup water (or more if too thick)
•2 cups chopped spinach
•1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
•1/3 cup h**p hearts
•1 lemon, juiced
•optional sprinkle of red pepper flakes
INSTRUCTIONS:
Melt the coconut oil In a large pot or dutch oven. Sauté the onion until translucent.
Add the garlic, ginger, turmeric, black pepper, sea salt and optional red pepper flakes. Mix and let cook for about 2 minutes. Add the broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini and fennel and cover to steam for about 10 minutes.
Once all veggies are soft, pour the veggie broth and water, and cover for about 5 minutes until lightly boiling.
Reduce heat to simmer and stir in the spinach, parsley, h**p hearts and lemon juice. Let simmer for about 3 minutes.
Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool a bit. Once cool add to an immersion blender, carefully start to blend until you reach your favorite soup consistency ✌🏻. May need to ass a bit of salt and pepper to taste.
Top with pepitas, leftover parsley and or add a dollop of coconut yogurt for added yum! I love serving this soup with my homemade seed crackers (recipe coming soon) and a small side salad of greens with my ACV infused dressing.
So what do you think? Easy enough right? Hope you all enjoy and if you make this recipe, please share, I can’t wait to see. 😋

thank you for tagging me and allowing me to participate in such a beautiful cause.
supports and helps bring tween girls mental health tools to build a strong sense of self. In honor of “Day Of The Girl”, which falls on October 11th, I am posting this photo of my younger self and telling her:
1. You have everything you need to succeed inside of you. Trust your intuition.
2. Leave the drama at the door. Ain’t no body got time for that. Surround yourself with positive and supportive people who want the best for you.
3. Why try to fit in when you were born to stand out. It’s ok to be different. Our differences are what make us unique.
4. Wear sunscreen (your older self will thank you for that 😉)

I’m sure, by now, you’ve seen Sage and Palo Santo just about everywhere. All though they have become more mainstream, both Sage and Palo Santo have been used for centuries. Sage and Palo Santo are typically used to cleanse a space of negative energy.
Sage and Palo Santo are known to help enhance mindful connection as well as rid bad juju. Both can help bring your environment back to a more harmonious state through simple rituals. Both should be used with set intention for maximum benefit. To some it may seem a bit woo woo, however, studies have found that burning herbs releases negative ions, which may produce a more positive mood! Plus, the smoke from these herbs can actually change the molecular structure of air and energy, producing a cleansing effect (perfect for the times). Let’s break down how to use each for maximum benefits.
Sage:
Typically, white or desert sage is dried and rolled into bundles for smudge sticks. Sage tends to be heavy on the herby scent. The aroma of sage is known to increase oxygen supply to the brain, bringing about a state of overall relaxation and muscle tension release.
Sage is thought to clear out energy for a powerful reset and fresh start, it’s perfect to use when moving into a new place, deep cleaning, before meditation or after an argument or any illness. Light your sage by holding a flame to it until it begins to smoke, then calmly (and with intention) move through your space, directing the smoke to where it needs to go – lived in areas and stale corners alike.
Palo Santo:
Palo Santo has the most woodsy fresh and uplifting scent. It is known as a holy wood from Peru, dating back to Incan civilization. The scent is a much less aggressive scent than sage, these sticks can also be used for powerful purifying and cleansing rituals, while keeping energies grounded and clear.
Palo Santo helps calm the immune and nervous systems and enhances creativity. Palo Santo is perfect for starting out your day. I use it every morning after sipping my warm lemon water.
Hope this helps. Happy Monday all ✌🏻

Happy Friday and OMG 😱 Happy OCTOBER. I can’t explain why this month just resonates with my soul deep down in my bones. Any one else? 🙋🏼♀️ Could have something to do with my Scorpio sun and libra moon 💁🏼♀️
Did you know October was originally the eighth month of the Roman calendar. It comes from the Latin word "octo" meaning eight. Later on, it became the 10th month when January and February were added to the Calendar. The Saxons called the month Wintirfyllith (how amazing is this let’s bring it back) because it had the first full moon of the winter season. And hello did you catch that moon last night. We have one more at the end of October as well.
Wishing you all a healthy and happy Friday ✌🏻

Finally took my own advice and took some time for ME. recently it occurred to me that it has been 6 years since I had vacation with out my children. 🤨
Don’t get me wrong, I love and adore time with my family. However, we all need and deserve time to reconnect with ourselves. The “Mom guilt” is very strong and I coach many Mothers through this. I finally coached my self and took a leap of faith and man oh man was it worth every second.
I feel more connected to my authentic self. I feel refreshed and ready to tackle Mom life. I feel more refreshed and ready to tackle work. I was reminded that I am worthy and deserving of time and space for my own needs. Lastly, I know that despite all the chaos and negativity this world is experiencing we will get through it stronger than we were before.
Side note: how amazing is this suit from 💃🏼

Happy happy Sunday.
Who else loves fresh herbs? 🙋🏼♀️
Not only do they taste amazing and are a perfect way to spice up salads, dressings and so much more, they’re also loaded with beneficial phytochemicals, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
My faves lately are mint, cilantro and parsley, all of which I use in my organic, small batch juice blends (DM for more details). Why are these herbs my faves? I’ll give you some fun facts.
Mint: 🍃
* It’s a great source of vitamin A, a fat soluble vitamin that is important for eye health.
* The scent of mint is invigorating and can give you an extra pep in your step when you’re fatigued
* May help with IBS symptoms and indigestion.
Cilantro: 🌿
* Rich in immune boosting antioxidants.
* Promotes healthy digestion and gut health (my fave)
* May reduce inflammation in the body.
* Diuretic properties which help your body flush excess sodium and water which is beneficial for blood pressure.
* Improves memory
* Helps relieve anxiety
Parsley: 🌿
* Rich in vitamin K which is needed for blood clotting and bone health.
* Loaded with antioxidants such as flavonoids, carotenoids and vitamin C.
* May have anti cancer effects.
* Rich in lutein and zeaxanthin which may prevent age-related macular degeneration.
Herbs are so easy to incorporate into your daily diet. Some way I incorporate mine are:
* Salads, just mix in with your lettuces.
* Salad dressings.
* In water to brighten up the color and flavor.
* Juices
* I’m your mock tails or cocktails
* As an oil or capsule (you can find herbal extracts all over).
What are your favorite herbs? Is love to hear 👇🏻.

Beckett Emery Williams, since the day I knew you were growing inside of my belly I knew you were special. Today you turn 8 years young.
You bring so much joy and laughter to our family. You’re loyal to those you love, you have a heart of gold. You’re never afraid to speak your mind or to stand up for what is right. You protect what you love at all cost.
You never back down from anything and when you want something you always find a way to get it (which can be entirely frustrating for me 🤪). I appreciate the determination you have when you set your mind to something. You’re relentless (like your Mom 😂), I know this will serve you well for all that you desire. You are willing to work hard for what you want and what you believe in. You love fiercely and deeply.
I believe you will do great things, in and for this world my ❤️. I love you with all of my heart, to the moon🌙 and across the stars ✨ @ Manhattan Beach, California
