Not every lash artist talks about this… but I will.
I’ve had stickies.
I’ve struggled with retention.
I’ve blamed my products… when deep down I knew it was me.
I’ve had clients leave me.
And I’ve had to let clients go.
I’ve been disappointed in my own work.
I’ve let clients cross boundaries because I didn’t clearly set them.
I’ve doubted myself more than I’ll ever admit.
I’ve compared my work and felt behind.
For a long time, I thought these things meant I wasn’t good enough.
But the truth is, every mistake taught me something.
Every setback forced me to improve.
Every uncomfortable lesson made me grow.
None of this made me a BAD artist.
It made me a BETTER one.
