Hair loss isn’t just something I treat… it’s something I went through myself.

After 16 years in the beauty industry, I’ve helped many people feel confident through their hair. But over the past few years, I started noticing something more and more clients were struggling with… hair thinning and hair loss.

What many people may not know is that this became very personal for me.

After postpartum hair loss , dealing with PCOS, illnesses, and severe stress, I began experiencing hair loss myself. As a stylist, it was incredibly frustrating and emotional to watch my own hair thin and not know exactly how to fix it.

That experience pushed me to start researching, learning, and trying everything I could, because like many of my clients, I wanted my hair back too.

The more I learned, the more passionate I became about understanding the real causes of hair loss and scalp health.

That journey led me to take the next step in my career. I’m proud to share that I am now a Certified Hair Loss Practitioner and will be offering specialized hair loss and scalp wellness services at Salon Roque.

This isn’t just another service for me.
It comes from personal experience, passion, and a deep desire to help others who are going through the same thing.

Hi everyone! I’d love to introduce myself—I’m Yessica Roque, owner of Salon Roque. With over 15 years of experience as a hairstylist, specializing in hair extensions and hair color, I’m now expanding my expertise into scalp health and working towards becoming a certified trichologist!

About four years ago, I started noticing changes in my long-time clients—specifically, thinning at the scalp. My curiosity led me down a path of research, and I discovered that many factors, including post-COVID effects, could contribute to hair loss. While I’m not a scientist, my observations and deep dive into scalp health made me realize how important it is to offer real solutions for hair and scalp concerns.

That’s why I’m thrilled to introduce The Scalp Spa at Salon Roque! My goal is to provide not only a relaxing and rejuvenating experience but also effective treatments and guidance for those struggling with scalp issues.

Don’t worry—I’m not stepping away from behind the chair! With the help of my amazing assistants, I’ll continue offering extensions, hair replacement, and hair color services while also diving into this exciting new journey.
