•A little backstory on this specific look: > This is actually not what my client originally came in for. She wanted a super dark, dense, velvety volume lash line with a few piecey spikes at the top. But structurally, achieving that exact density requires a canvas with 3 to 4 natural lash layers. My client possessed Two healthy lash layers.

Instead of just blindly copying and pasting her inspiration photo anyway, I gave her a thorough consultation. We sat down, talked about her natural lash health, and I explained why a standard map wouldn’t look the way she envisioned on her specific canvas.

The payoff? She trusted my expertise and gave me full creative control to sculpt a custom set that would truly accentuate her features.

As a perfectionist, my instinct is always to hide the process—because who really wants to see the nitty-gritty or what it actually takes to build a vision from the ground up?
