Today marks 10 years since Michelle and I opened our little dream, Aglow Studio Suite. 🥹✨
When I look back at where we started, I can’t help but feel so emotional. Michelle, thank you for taking this journey with me. We’ve shared so many years together, so many memories, laughs, challenges, and moments of growth. I’m so grateful that we took this leap and created a space we could call our own. 🤍
And to every single client who has supported me throughout these 10 years—thank you. Thank you for sitting in my chair, trusting me with your hair, supporting my business, and allowing me to do what I love for a living.
Over the years, I’ve gained so many amazing clients and, of course, said goodbye to some along the way. Some embraced their natural hair, some moved away, and some weren’t happy with my services—and honestly, that’s okay. I still think about and miss many of you. You were all part of my journey, and I’m grateful for the time you spent in my chair. 🤍
These 10 years have taught me so much—not only about running a business, but about myself and my craft. When I look back at some of my earlier work, I can see how far I’ve come. I went from creating work that I now consider mediocre to constantly pushing myself to become a more skilled, confident, and intentional stylist.
I’ve learned, grown, made mistakes, tried new things, stepped outside of my comfort zone, and fallen in love with my career all over again.
This reel is a little look back at some of my favorite transformations throughout the years and a reminder that growth never stops. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, but I’m even more excited to see where I continue to go from here.

From dark brown to a heavily highlighted blonde ✨
This was a 2–3 session color correction journey to get her here! We started the first session with a color remover to help break through the previous dark color, then gradually continued lifting and highlighting while keeping the integrity of her hair in mind.
Sometimes big transformations take time, patience, and a customized plan—and this blonde journey was so worth it 🤍✨
