Don’t get me wrong, we’re still going to do what we need to do. Botox where Botox makes sense. Filler where filler makes sense. 😅
But somewhere along the way, injectables became the end-all, be-all of “anti-aging.” And they’re just not.
Looking your best long-term is usually a combination of good skin, the right treatments, consistency, lifestyle, sun protection, and yes, injectables when they actually make sense.
You can find someone who will say yes to every syringe, every concern, every appointment.
But more doesn’t always age well. Coincidentally.
The goal isn’t to do everything.
It’s to know what’s actually worth doing.
I know it’s tempting to look at your favorite influencer and think, “Okay, THAT’S the laser I need.” But their skin isn’t your skin.
Different lasers and light-based treatments target different concerns, pigment, redness, texture, fine lines, scarring, and your skin type, treatment history, and goals all matter when deciding where to start.
That’s why we assess your skin before choosing the treatment.
The goal isn’t to give you the laser that’s trending. It’s to choose the technology that actually makes sense for your skin.

When you literally have someone’s face in your hands, the standard should be high. ⭐️
Honest credentials. Knowing when to say no. Referring out when needed. Knowing when filler isn’t the answer. Being willing to lose the sale.
Because this isn’t just aesthetics. It’s someone’s face, their trust, and your reputation.

The 2026 Emmys gave us a pretty good reminder: Lighting matters. And real skin has texture.
Change the light, angle or camera and the same beautiful skin can look completely different.
Pores, fine lines and texture are normal. They don’t automatically mean your skin needs another treatment.
I’m all for improving skin quality. I’m not interested in chasing the completely textureless face the internet convinced us was attainable.
Healthy skin should still look like skin.
And sometimes the best thing you can do for your face is step away from the magnifying mirror.

Twenty+ years in aesthetics, and this hasn’t changed:
Do what’s right for the patient, not what makes the most money.
Sometimes that means doing less. Sometimes it means saying no.
Good judgment, natural results, and my patients’ trust will always come before a sale.
