This is your reminder that an injector saying “not today” is a green flag 💚

Aesthetics shouldn’t be a game of adding and adding until something looks off.

The goal isn’t more.
The goal is harmony, balance, and helping you look like yourself for a very long time.

The fear around tear trough filler has become louder than the actual conversation.

The truth? Tear troughs can be done well.

The key is proper patient selection, assessment, and treating the face as a whole, not just one isolated area.

There are basics when it comes to choosing an injector, regardless of their social media status.

Social media can introduce you to an injector, but it shouldn’t be the reason you choose one.

Look beyond the followers, viral videos, and perfectly curated feeds.

Pay attention to consistency, patient retention, credentials, continued education, and someone who has a clear philosophy when it comes to aging well.

Because you’re not choosing someone for one appointment. You’re choosing someone who may influence how your face ages for years to come.

What are some other things patients should be looking for when choosing an injector? Let’s build the list below 👇

The problem isn’t patients researching aesthetics.

The problem is treating social media as the final authority.

Do your research. But make sure you’re researching your provider as much as you’re researching the procedure.

Because who is treating you matters just as much as what is being treated.

Medical conversations deserve more nuance than a comment section.

What’s one aesthetic myth you’re tired of hearing online? 👇

One of the biggest mistakes I see isn’t what people are doing in the treatment room, it’s what they’re forgetting to do every single day afterward🚨

You can invest in great skincare and professional treatments, but if you’re skipping sun protection on half your body, you’re working against yourself.

A few things I’ll always remind patients:

— Your sunscreen doesn’t stop at your jawline.
— Your neck is part of the assignment.
— Your hands deserve the same attention as your face.
— Don’t forget your ears.
— Your chest is keeping score too.
— The little things you do every day matter more than the big things you do once in a while.

Because we’ve all seen it.

The beautiful face… and then the neck, chest, and hands tell a completely different story.

Drop your must-have sunscreen below and tell me why👇

For several years, everyone has been talking about “Ozempic Face.”

I’m more interested in what happens next.

As GLP-1s become more common, I have a feeling facial aging, volume loss, and skin quality are going to become a much bigger part of the conversation.

Not because the medications are bad. Because the results are real.

And sometimes your face needs a plan too.

Injectors, what are you seeing in your practice?

Patients, what questions do you wish you had asked sooner?

One of the hardest parts of aesthetics right now isn’t the treatments.

It’s expectations. 🚨

We’re living in a time where AI can generate faces that don’t exist, filters can erase texture, and editing can create results that were never actually achieved.

So if you’re comparing yourself to what you see online, make sure you’re comparing yourself to something real.

Because filler isn’t skincare.

What you want isn’t always what you need.

And the best treatment plans are usually built on patience, maintenance, and honesty not trends.

Twenty years later, those are still the hills I’m willing to die on.

Meanwhile, I packed a dedicated bag just for skincare.

The problem with trends is that they eventually go out of style.

Your face doesn’t.

That’s why I focus less on what’s popular and more on what makes sense for the individual sitting in my chair.

This visit wasn’t about creating something new.

It was about maintaining the foundation we built years ago and continuing to support natural, balanced results.
