We’ll never forget the victims and the heroes that day.
In August of last year I ordered a pre-cut quilt kit from Quilt101 - there were a few fabric choices I chose to modify & it took me a little bit to pick out just the right patterns, but I finally did that and at the end of February, I went to town making this fun pattern.
By May it was FINALLY done!!
Jaylen Tea Time Quilting finished my quilt on the longarm for me.
In August, I was so happy to present this beauty to my dad for his birthday!

It’s Makeup Monday!
I gave you a quick review of the Beef Tallow Sun Balm a week or 2 ago, but thought I would show you what I purchased before our July 4 beach trip. (If you need sunscreen, hit me up, I have more than enough - LOL!)
All of these are mineral based, non-nano zinc oxide sunscreens. I believe most were spf 30.
I like the tins the best. Solids tend to be less messy and stay where you want them until you apply them.
The one that claimed to be a spray was a total fail.
Baby girl didn’t have any problems with sunscreen in her eyes and she still got a healthy tan!
