And then we wonder why we keep starting over.

Especially in this economy, betting on yourself can feel scary. I get it. But betting on yourself isn’t always about quitting your job, starting a business, or making some huge life-changing move.

Sometimes betting on yourself is simply doing what you told yourself you were going to do.

Finish it.
Post it.
Save the money.
Go to the gym.
Apply for it.
Launch it.
Learn the skill.
Make the call.
Stay consistent when nobody is clapping yet.

Every time you keep a promise to yourself, you build a little more trust in YOU.

And every time you constantly abandon those promises, you teach yourself that your own word doesn’t mean much.

Maybe the next level doesn’t require another idea.

Maybe it requires commitment to the ideas you already have.

Stop starting over.

POV: My phone rings after a FULL day of clients…

Me: WHAT?! WHAT?! WHAT?! 😭😂

I cannot be the only service provider whose social battery is sitting at a strong -3% by the end of the day.

Because baby… I LOVE Y’ALL. I really do. 😂❤️ But whew! Y’all be having me SPENT.

We done talked about the kids, the job, the man, the woman, the ex, the new boo, the family drama, the vacation, the divorce, the promotion AND what we eating for dinner. 😭

We done laughed.
Somebody cried.
I probably gave a little unsolicited life advice.
We solved at least 2.5 problems.
AND somehow I was supposed to do your nails at the same time. 😂

By the time I get home, I don’t want to talk. I don’t want to FaceTime. I don’t want to answer “what you doing?”

I AM DOING SILENCE. 😭😂

My client was dealing with a case of onycholysis and made the decision to remove the portion of the nail that was no longer attached to the nail bed.

For those who may not know, onycholysis is when the nail begins lifting from the nail bed, typically starting at the free edge and progressing toward the nail matrix.

But with a gala coming up, she still wanted to feel confident and polished for her special event — so we created a custom toenail prosthesis to restore the appearance of the nail while supporting her nail journey. 💅🏾✨
