The Kai Noir Experience

The Kai Noir Experience is officially moving to Charlotte, NC in August 2026.

I originally planned to make this announcement in a video because I wanted it to feel more personal. However, after the recent loss of a family member, my heart just isn’t in a place where I can show up on camera the way I intended.

Instead, I want to simply say thank you.

Thank you to everyone who has made my time in Houston so unforgettable. I’m a small-town girl from North Carolina, and I’m incredibly grateful that I was able to build something so special in one of the biggest cities in the country. The love, trust, and support you’ve shown me over the last three years is something I’ll never take for granted.

Over the past several months, I came to the realization that I need to be closer to my immediate support system. While Texas has blessed me with an incredible village, it’s time for me to go home and be closer to my family.

If I could truly put into words how difficult this decision has been, I’d probably end up writing a novel. There were so many days I didn’t have the strength to fully show up, but somehow I always left the salon feeling lighter. Whether it was a client lifting my spirits from behind the chair, someone sending me a kind message telling me I inspired them, or one of you stopping me in public just to speak life into me; you have no idea how much those moments carried me.

This isn’t goodbye. It’s simply, “see you later.”

Thank you for every appointment, every referral, every follow, every encouraging comment, every conversation, every laugh, and every ounce of support you’ve poured into me. You all helped a girl from a small town live out her wildest dreams.

For my final month in Houston, I’ll only be working during the first two weeks of August, and I’ll be offering silk presses only. If you’ve ever sat in my chair, I’d absolutely love to see you one more time. And if you aren’t able to book an appointment, I’d still love for you to stop by so we can share a proper farewell.

I pray that God blesses this next chapter and increases the love and support tenfold.

Thank you, Houston. You’ll always be my home away from home.
