Here’s what we did to accomplish this amazing color
• Base Tone: A deep, rich ruby or crimson red serves as the foundation, providing a dark and solid backdrop.
• Highlights: Fine, shimmering highlights in bright fire-engine red and fiery orange-red are woven throughout, creating a “glowing” effect where the light hits.
• Overall Effect: The combination results in a sophisticated, multi-tonal look that shifts between deep cherry and bright scarlet, giving the hair a “liquid” and healthy appearance.

This hair styling process begins with meticulous sectioning of the top part of the hair, where several small, tight Dutch braids are intricately woven from the front hairline towards the crown. Subsequently, the client leans forward to allow for the creation of another braid, starting from the nape of the neck and extending upwards to meet the previously formed braids. All hair, including the ends of the braids and any remaining loose strands, is then gathered at the crown and secured into a high ponytail with a hair tie. For a refined finish, a small section of hair from the ponytail is carefully wrapped around the hair tie to conceal it, and this wrap is firmly secured with a bobby pin. This technique results in a sophisticated high ponytail adorned with elegant braided details on both the top and back of the head.

The hair extension move-up process is a maintenance procedure designed to reposition beaded extensions that have shifted away from the scalp due to natural hair growth. The stylist begins by sectioning the hair to expose the extension rows, then uses specialized pliers to “un-crimp” and loosen the beads. Each extension is carefully slid back up the natural hair strand toward the roots and re-secured by firmly crimping the bead shut. This process is repeated across all rows, concluding with styling to ensure the extensions once again blend seamlessly and comfortably with the natural hair

When creating the perfect extension implementation here’s what we do

1. Sectioning: Janelle begins by creating clean, horizontal sections in the natural hair to define the placement of the extension tracks.
2. Foundation Building: Next she places small beads that are attached to sections of the natural hair to form a sturdy anchor point.
3. Sewing & Securing: The hair weft is then meticulously sewn onto the beaded track, ensuring the weight is distributed evenly for comfort.
4. Blending: Finally the natural hair is released over the extensions, concealing the tracks and resulting in a smooth, professional finish.

The final result is a high-volume, flowing hairstyle where the extensions are virtually indistinguishable from the natural hair.
