It’s interesting how some people are so quick to post about being “backstabbed” on social media while conveniently leaving out the parts that don’t fit their narrative.

Here’s mine.

You approached me about becoming your business partner for Oasis of Beauty because, in your own words, “walang problema sa pera.” Before I was even invited to partner with you, you had already placed your orders. Out of goodwill, I agreed to help sell the products.

When shipping issues came up, even though you offered me a share of the profits despite being the financier, I declined because my goal was simply to help. I had the products shipped to my address in the Philippines, covered the shipping expenses, and coordinated everything since my mom was flying back to the U.S. and could bring the items with her.

I also accommodated your Thailand orders and personally delivered them to your hotel while you were celebrating your son’s birthday at Disneyland. I trusted your promise that payment would come once you recovered financially.

Only later did I learn there were also outstanding invoices involving a Dubai supplier you introduced.

Now that I’ve decided to continue selling Dubai products on my own, I suddenly see posts implying that I “backstabbed” you.

Respectfully, choosing to move forward with my own business is not betrayal. What I find disappointing is seeing accusations posted publicly instead of receiving a simple message or honest conversation.

Business is built on trust, accountability, and communication. If there was ever a misunderstanding, it could have been discussed privately instead of turning it into social media drama.

The truth doesn’t need embellishment. It only needs to be told.
