While layers have continued to trend the past few years, it’s important to note that your layers are NOT going to look the same when they’re styled versus when you just let them air dry or do their thing (no judgement here—I totally get it). Consultations are important, and when I mention things like this it’s not because I don’t want to give you what you’re asking for or think it won’t look good. It’s simply because I care about you and your hair and want to give you something that makes you feel like your best self… not something you’re going to hate in a few days 🩷🪄

Wet hair lies. So if you ask us, “how’s it looking?” while you’re at the shampoo bowl and we just smile and say, “So pretty….” now you know why 🤍

Wet hair always looks darker than it really is, so we can’t see your true color until it’s dry. That’s when the tone softens, the dimension pops, and we know exactly how everything came together. Even if we know how something is going to go as a professional, wet hair can mask results
