There are a lot of pageant tips I’ve taken in along this journey, and I have learned a lot from the amazing, intelligent, and beautiful women in the pageant industry. So, the best pageant advice I can give is this: Don’t try to be who you think people want you to be and show them who you really are.

Confidence isn't pretending to be perfect…it's being comfortable enough to let your authentic self shine. It’s knowing who you are. Comparison is the quickest way to steal that confidence. The only person you're competing with is the person you were yesterday. Be authentic, be prepared, and let your heart speak the loudest. Crowns are temporary, but your character and your heart is what people remember.💙👑

Day 23 prompt is “How do you give back?”

Giving back looks like volunteering in my community at the Second Harvest Food Bank, encouraging someone who's struggling, supporting local events, showing up when someone needs a helping hand, or picking up a piece of trash that I notice on the ground. The smallest acts of kindness, a warm “hello” or a smile to a stranger, holding the door for the person behind me, can make the biggest difference. I believe that every act of kindness has the power to make a lasting impact. The way I give back is leaving the people I meet and places I show up better than I found them.💙👑

The prompt for today is “Share your family”.

Behind every idea, task, and dream is a family who cheers me on, prays for me, and reminds me to stay true to myself. I'm incredibly grateful for my husband, my daughter & granddaughter…and even those who aren’t pictured, like my dad, who has been invested and supportive in this journey since I told him about the pageant. I am so thankful for the love and encouragement my family has given me throughout this journey. They're truly my greatest blessing.💙👑

Welcome to Day 20–“Share a fun fact”—
Day 16 had me share three fun facts, so something new to share would be that I talk to my animals like they’re my friends.😄🐴🐶🦆

Every morning I tell them “good morning” and ask them how they slept as I feed them and as I go about my chores. I even thank my ducks for the eggs they lay. Yep, my life is often times like a Disney princess…minus the animals answering me. No such luck with that yet. They’re all just really good listeners.😂

Day 19 prompt is “Share your hobbies”.

Traveling—anywhere near the water. Taking care of my animals. Reading. Gardening—my mom is always so impressed with how tall my lilies grow. Baking—first attempts at sourdough recipes.

Albeit busy at times, I love the quiet life I have worked so hard to build with the people I love. I enjoy doing and learning new things, caring for things, and helping them grow.💙👑
