The rumors are true…

I’m simply redecorating! And moving 2 rooms up from where I am now :)

Ya girl needed just a little bit more space and I wanted to shift some things in my design.

So here’s your raw, unfiltered, look of the process where I genuinely was losing my mind and couldn’t have cared less about what I looked like 3 hours in 🫠

Can’t wait to give you guys more of an inside look this time around!

If you want hair like this, then your foil pattern should look like 📲 that

Here’s the thing, you can have ribbons of dimension and a 3-6 month maintenance schedule without walking around with skunky chunky highlights

The secret is finding a stylist who knows how to properly break down your inspo picture & lifestyle to create the perfect hair color for you!

We were able to keep Caroline’s face and ends bright while leaving a good amount of her natural in between foils and weaves so it’s safe to say I’ll see sister in about a year from now 🤪

Bang for your buck

Just clearing out the dusty, yet aesthetic, corners of my camera roll 🤩

Retiring the college blonde is truly a right of passage

One day you’re 18, it’s the day before bid day, and you NEED to be as blonde to the root as possible

Then suddenly you blink, 4 years have passed, and you’re putting on your cap wondering why you just got your hair done if it’s going to be covered up anyway.

You apply for jobs, consider moving, and suddenly- life just got really REAL. So much just happened, so much is about to happen, and somehow you feel like you just out grew your once perfectly babylit hair.

It’s no secret that hair holds memories, and sometimes the biggest way to end a chapter to move on to the next is truly to change it up. Though it might feel like you’re hanging up the hat on a whole identity, and this might even feel silly to psychoanalyze- maybe you just need to change it up. Get out of your comfort zone? Try something new?

It always seems like this time of year I’m having more of these conversations than usual. All my post grad girlies are moving on to bigger and better things and they need the hair to reflect that.

I always find it an honor that women trust me through making changes to their hair, while also trusting me to walk with them through some of the biggest changes in life. And whether this hit somewhere raw and deep, or you just enjoyed a sappy moment from yours truly, I’m so thankful to be apart of every moment you let me be.

&& if you’re someone who stayed until the end just to figure out what we actually did you this beauty’s hair I’ll tell you!
-rich neutral root melt 1 level darker than her natural
-lowlights in the same color
-a gloss to neutralize some unwanted warmth
-a second gloss to add that warm beige look
- and LASTLY 2 rows of 18” custom colored extensions

Sending this one off with a GOOD head of hair 🫶🏻

The key to low maintenance color (in my opinion)

-brightness around the areas of your face that you LIKE & want to emphasize (i.e around your eyes, through the ends)

-STRUCTURE & placement of the color. It has to make sense visually. The lowlight placement has a purpose just as much as the highlight placement

-allowing your natural color to play a part in your overall color. Not saying it has to be the main character- but believe it or not, leaving dimension through the root & midsection will push your salon appointments from being every 2 months to every 4-5 months

That’s what I call a bang for your buck bby 💁🏼‍♀️💁🏻‍♀️
