Dr. Babbitt completed his medical education and surgical training at the University of Massachusetts, followed by specialized training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He also completed a two-year research fellowship focused on microsurgery, human anatomy, limb reconstruction, complex wound healing, and abdominal reconstruction. His academic contributions include journal articles, a textbook chapter, and presentations at regional, national, and international conferences.

Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Charvet brings advanced expertise across aesthetic plastic surgery, breast reconstruction, reconstructive microsurgery, and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.

With training in both general surgery and plastic and reconstructive surgery in California, Dr. Charvet earned the honor of Outstanding Chief Resident and has contributed to the field through research, publications, national presentations, and academic leadership as an assistant professor of plastic and reconstructive surgery at UC Davis before returning home to New Orleans to open Magnolia Plastic Surgery & MedSpa.
