Loxe Salon is open and accepting new clients in Branford, CT.
10 years ago I left corporate America.
I went from private equity + real estate accounting in DC to hair school and waitressing at Cracker Barrel.
A lot of people questioned why I would leave my degrees and career to pursue a “trade.” My soul was dying in a cubicle so I didn’t care and took the risk.
But I’ve spent the last 10 years proving one thing to myself- I will always figure it out.
I’ve built a career I’m proud of, built a business from the ground up, and learned how to start over more than once while balancing my career, my daughter and my husband’s military career.
And now I’m doing it again.
New state. New salon. New chapter. Same willingness to bet on myself.
Every time I’ve had to start over, I’ve pushed forward and built something anyway.
And that’s the part I’m most proud of.
Because my success has never belonged to a boss, a company, or a title.
I built it.

A little behind the scenes of this transformation.
We started with grey coverage and added in some highlights to brighten everything up while still keeping some dimension.
Then we added 2 rows of hidden sew-in wefts for the extra length + fullness she was looking for.
The end result is brighter, fuller, dimensional hair that still looks completely natural.
I love a good transformation where we can tackle a few different things in one appointment!
