Is crochet really better than a regular retwist? 👀

Everybody swear crochet is the “better” option… but better for who? 🤔

A regular retwist gives your locs room to move naturally as they mature. Crochet gives a cleaner, longer-lasting look, but doing it too often or too aggressively can put extra stress on your hair.

Neither one is automatically better. It all depends on your hair, your goals, and whether it’s being done the right way.

Stop letting social media convince you that one method fits everybody. Your locs are unique, and they deserve a routine that actually works for your hair.
