Here is how to focus coverage where it actually matters:
Target the central zone: Apply foundation only where redness and discoloration naturally sit, your cheeks, nose, chin, around the mouth, and just a touch on the forehead. Leave the rest of your skin minimal.
Anchor with the under-eyes: Focus major effort on getting the under-eye area bright, smooth, and seamless. Once the under-eye area looks fresh, the entire face instantly looks awake and put together.
Blend out, don’t build up: Fade your foundation toward the outer edges of your face so your natural skin texture shines through at the hairline and jaw.
When you get the center of the face and the under-eyes right, everything else falls into place with half the product.

Think about it…..your primer, color corrector, concealer, cream blush, and powder all carry pigment. When you slather on a thick full-coverage foundation right out of the gate and then layer all your other products on top, you’re instantly setting yourself up for a heavy, cakey look.
Here is the secret to a flawless, skin-like finish:
1️⃣ Start light. Apply a sheer layer or only spot-treat where you actually need it.
2️⃣ Build in micro-layers. Let your concealers, blushes, and bronzers add their own coverage naturally as you go.
3️⃣ Assess at the end. You’ll realize you needed way less foundation than you thought.
