Sometimes we are making things harder than they need to be. If shades aren’t RIGHT for us, it can become a chore to blend our, cover, take on and off etc. Make sure your shades are for you! Promise it’ll makeup your morning makeup routine easier.

When you have a limited time to do your make up, it’s important to focus on the right things.

When was the last time you actually cleaned out your makeup bag? If you’re digging past broken products just to find your favorite lip gloss, this is your sign to declutter.
In my latest video, I shared the 3 golden rules for cleaning out your stash. Toss it if:
1. It’s Expired ⏰
Makeup has an expiration date! Check the back for that tiny open jar icon (like 6M or 12M). If it’s past its prime, it’s a bacteria breeding ground.
2. The Container is Broken 🩹
We’ve all tried to save a shattered powder or a leaking concealer. It’s messy and ruins your other products. You deserve better!
3. You Hate It 🙅‍♀️
Stop forcing yourself to love a viral product that doesn’t work for you. If you’ve tried it multiple times and still dislike it, let it go.

When clients come to me and they feel like they can’t get their makeup right, they often think it’s their eye shadow or lip color. Truth is, it’s the under eye and brow area. Once those are right, everything else just falls into place.

MAKEUP RANT- in the beauty industry, how do we expect women to stay up-to-date and know what they’re doing if there’s no education provided on what’s really in. I’m not talking about Instagram trends I’m talking about what’s really, really in. If you’re not sure what to do, don’t beat yourself up because our industry certainly doesn’t make it easy on you.

Let’s be honest: when was the last time you actually used that glitter eyeshadow or the foundation that’s just a little too orange?
If your makeup bag is overflowing but you still feel like you have nothing to wear on your face, it is time for a serious purge. We love to hold onto beauty products out of guilt or because we think we might use them one day. But if a product does not work for your skin tone, your routine, or your confidence, it is just taking up physical and mental space.
Simplifying your collection is not about wasting money, it is about making room for the things that actually make you feel amazing.
Go dump out your bag right now. If it does not serve you, it does not belong in your routine. Your mornings are about to get so much lighter.
