Oats is a visual artist and jack of all trades when it comes to creative pursuits. Born and raised in Jacksonville, Oats went to FSCJ and obtained an associate’s in Fine Arts, worked as a substitute teacher for Duval county, and then attended Aveda Institute for a Cosmetology certificate. Good music, good food, and good conversations fill their time off when not painting. From classic vintage styles to funky punk expressions, they enjoy an array of alternative subcultures and tend to switch it up weekly. Bringing their varied aesthetic interests as an influence to their work behind the chair, they are always down to learn something new. They enjoy services that they can get engrossed in including highlighting services, layered cuts (pixies and long layers!), vivid/creative colors, nice bouncy blowouts and weft extensions installation and maintenance.
