Let’s talk about something that doesn’t get talked about enough in the beauty industry. 👀💭

A beautiful treatment room doesn’t automatically mean you’re receiving quality care. Neither does a fancy product line, a large following, or a long list of certifications. 💆🏼‍♀️✨

What REALLY matters is what happens when you’re actually in that treatment room. 🤍

🧼 It’s the sanitation practices you may never see. The cleaning, disinfecting, and attention to detail that should NEVER be optional.

📚 It’s the continuing education. The hours spent learning, researching, and improving because our clients deserve professionals who never stop growing.

🤎 It’s honesty over a sale. Being willing to tell you when a treatment isn’t right for your skin, even if that means losing money.

🫶🏼 It’s making you feel comfortable. Respecting your boundaries, protecting your privacy, listening to your concerns, and never making you feel embarrassed about your skin or body.

🌸 It’s remembering that we’re all human. Real skin, real bodies, real insecurities, and real life. You don’t have to be perfect to deserve self care.

At The Rejuvenated Mama, we believe these things should be the STANDARD, not the exception. 🦋

We’re not perfect, and we’ll never pretend to know everything. But we WILL continue learning, growing, holding ourselves accountable, and putting the well being of our clients first. 🤍

As we welcome new estheticians and grow into our new space, these values will remain at the heart of everything we do. 🏡✨

Social media is a highlight reel, but I think you deserve to see what's happening behind ours. 🤎

This expansion has been exciting, overwhelming, expensive, and honestly, nothing like I imagined.

I've made mistakes, learned some hard lessons, and had plenty of moments where I've questioned myself.

But one thing I want to make clear is that just because our doors have been closed doesn't mean I've stopped showing up.

I'm working every single day to bring this next chapter of The Rejuvenated Mama to life. And I haven't forgotten about the clients who helped get us here.

I never wanted this transition to go the way it has, and I know it's affected more than just me.

I'm sharing this because I believe in transparency, not just posting the pretty parts.

And if you're another mom, business owner, or someone who's trying their hardest but things still aren't going according to plan, I hope this reminds you that you're not alone.

New estheticians and nail techs, this is something I wish more people talked about. 👀

I hear all the time how hard it is to get your foot in the door in the beauty industry. Now that I’ve spent more time on the employer side, I’ve realized something:

Sometimes it isn’t your lack of experience keeping you from getting the position.

Employers notice the little things.

Did you completely fill out the application?

Did you check the email address you provided after applying?

Did you respond when the employer reached out?

Did you show up on time?

Did you take a few minutes to research the business before your interview?

Did you communicate professionally?

Did you follow through when you said you were interested?

You would be surprised how much simply being responsive, reliable and genuinely interested can make you stand out.

And one of the biggest things I’ve noticed is how much communication has changed. So many of us live by text now and barely think about our inboxes. But if you’re actively applying for positions, check your email regularly. Many businesses still use email for interview invitations, follow ups and employment information.

For newer professionals trying to break into this industry, please don’t underestimate the basics.

Your talent might get an employer’s attention.

Your professionalism, communication and reliability can be what turns an opportunity into a career. 🤍
