Mrs. Racheal Dugger
My name is Racheal Dugger. I serve busy mom entrepreneurs who are ready for a more sustainable lifestyle and a business aligned with their values.
Sharing the values of biblical womanhood and sustainable motherhood that have been nearly forgotten in our modern culture, and encouraging mothers to reclaim their roles as the guardians of the culture in society. Think of me as your guide on this journey. You need support from someone who has been on the sustainable mompreneur’s path for a while. Someone who has…
> had the same questions,
> faced the same challenges, and
> can encourage you to keep moving forward. Motherhood and entrepreneurship require you to give so much of yourself to others, but if you're going to create that sustainable life and business you desire, you must start taking care of yourself first. As a wife, mom, and entrepreneur myself, I’m here to...
> support you on your journey, and
> share the entrepreneurial tools and resources I wish I had when I first started. And as an herbalist with certification in herbal formulations and training in botanical skincare...
I want to help empower you through herbal self-care tips and products so you can show up as your best self supporting those who rely on you.

BABY POST!!
Baby was moving so much at the 20 week anatomy scan they didn’t get to see everything they needed to, so they had me come in at 25 weeks to try again.
They were able to see everything they needed to and baby is healthy and growing well. They estimated baby’s weight to be 1 lb 11oz.—exactly as expected for 25 weeks.
She was able to get some really good pictures too, and they are so cute. Baby is all curled up in there with its feet right up next to its face. 😆
UPDATE:
Oops, I didn’t realize I’d gotten so far behind with the health and baby updates. I’ll try to get caught up this weekend.
I’ve had a respiratory infection the last few weeks so we’ve delayed chemotherapy until it’s cleared out. The first antibiotic didn’t work and my white blood cell count was higher than before starting it. But this week, after starting a new antibiotic, my WBC count was finally coming back down. So, it seems to be working.
The plan now is to start chemo next Friday, after I’ve finished this antibiotic, so we’re sure the infection is completely gone.
There is some risk with delaying chemo, but there’s also risks starting chemo with an active infection, so...
While neither option is great—starting chemo with an active infection vs delaying chemo to clear the infection first—we’re praying that we’ve made the best choice given the situation.
Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we prepare for my upcoming treatments.
SHARING MY JOURNEY
I’ve never been the type of person to post a lot of my personal life on social media. However, changes in my health during this pregnancy has led me to reconsider sharing more openly in the hopes that it might help someone else in a similar situation.
In May, at 13 weeks, I was diagnosed with cancer—Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the throat.
This type of cancer is pretty uncommon in someone my age, and extremely rare in a woman who’s pregnant. So, I’ve got a whole group of doctors working together to find the best and safest treatment for both me and baby.
Over the last couple months I’ve had quite a few tests, but I haven’t started treatment just yet. So, I’ll be sharing about those tests and how the pregnancy is going in the next several posts, and once treatment starts, I’ll share that part of the journey as well.
This is a really scary situation, but the Lord has been with my husband and I through many ups and downs, and I know he’s with us now.
