A big myth is that having fun colored hair means your hair is damaged.
Having fun colored hair is not the damaging part because most fun colors have a conditioner base, so if anything, it’s more nourishing for your hair.
Lightning, the hair is where the damage can come in BUT you also don’t need to over lighten your hair to get a desired color. Better yet if you already have lighter hair, you don’t have to lighten your hair at all!
You can have long, thick, healthy hair and still have a little fun!🌈

Here’s something’s that I’ve learned over the years with my own hair and being a hairstylist!

Oily Hair
-It’s important to double shampoo every time you shampoo. The first shampoo takes away the first layer of products and oils. The second shampoo cleans the scalp.
-It’s also good to have a clarifying shampoo to use once a week to really help reset the hair.
-Now when it comes to the conditioning, no matter what hair type it is, I love using a hair mask because it only goes on the end of the hair. I just wouldn’t choose anything super heavy for oily hair. A hair mask is really great to help nurse the end of your hair.

Dry Hair
-Also important to double shampoo, even if you have dry hair. I would just use something a bit more hydrating for your scalp.
-Clarifying shampoo can be really good for dry hair. It can really help people with scalp issues.
-For conditioner anything super moisturizing will be amazing for your ends. Highly recommend a really nourishing hair mask.
