It's that time of year-Time for our fall vacation to recharge our battery of life again!

I will be out the office from Sept 3 to Sept 17th.

While I am gone, Dr. Emily Hurt will be seeing patients her normal office hours 9:30-2 Mon thru Thu and Fri 9:30-11.

This year we are excited to share that Dr. Shawnda Gross will be helping us out by being available a few days while I am gone.

Dr. Gross will be in the office on
Thu Sept 3 2pm-5pm;
Fri Sept 4 11am-2pm;
Tue Sept 8 2pm-5pm and
THursday Sept 10 2pm-6pm

Blue KC and NKC Health reach new agreement

We are pleased to share that Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City (Blue KC) and NKC Health have reached a new agreement effective June 1, 2026, ensuring Blue KC members continue to have uninterrupted in-network access to NKC Health services.

We are in the process of updating affected members connecting through customer service. Outreach will continue through this week.

We're doing it again!

You can help Clay County deputies deliver smiles to our local seniors this Valentine's Day. We’re collecting handmade or store-bought Valentine cards to deliver to local nursing homes and assisted living facilities across the County. Whether you are part of a school, daycare, business, church, or just a kindhearted individual, we want you to participate by making out a card to a senior. Hand-written messages are best!
