With his expertise in his role as director of records, Sanders bolstered performance data and its predictions, ensured pedigrees were correct and piloted new programs to help producers’ record keeping.

Welcome to !
Riley Coates, a Baldwin City, Kan., native, joined the AHA records team as a customer service representative June 15. Coates graduated from Kansas State University in 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in animal sciences and industry.
In her role with the Association, Coates will communicate with Hereford breeders, help resolve questions and interpret discrepancies, while maintaining accurate records and promoting participation in AHA programs and services.
