Microblading 3D hair stokes by Melissa
What is Microblading? Microblading is a Semi-permanent form of tattoo Technique creating individual hand made real looking hair strokes to design and shape your eyebrows. I use a pen like hand tool and disposable blades. Everyone is Raving about the new Most Natural Looking eyebrow. This will take 1st appointment and you should have a follow up 4-6 weeks
after 1st appointment. Results typically last 12 months to 3 years for everyone this is different. Before you Book
Microblading is not recommended for those who:
● If you will experience direct sun exposure within a month after the procedure (in other words work directly in the sun) ● Are pregnant or nursing ● Are undergoing chemotherapy ● Currently have viral Infection and/or diseases ● Use a pacemaker or have major heart problems● Had an organ transplant● Have skin irritations or psoriasis near the treated area (rashes, sunburn, acne)● Are sick (common cold, flu, etc.)● Used Accutane within the past year
Before Your Appointment
● Do not work out the day of the procedure. ● Do not tan or have a sunburn on your face.● Do not take aspirin, niacin, omega 3 or ibuprofen within 24 hours before procedure.● Do not consume alcohol or caffeine within 24 hours before the procedure.● Do not wax or tint your brows at least 3 days before. ● Do not get a microdermabrasion, chemical peel, Botox, or fillers at least a month before your procedure. ● Discontinue skincare products that contain any of these ingredients at least one week prior to your appointment: Retin-A, Retinol, salicylic acid, glycolic acid, AHA. ● Please note that you will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle. EXPECTATIONS!!!
● Brows will not be perfect. Due to bone structure, hair placement, and hair density, perfect symmetry is not attainable. I use measuring tools to bring enough balance so asymmetry is not detectable.
● Mild swelling, itching, light scabbing, light bruising, and dry tightness may occur. Ice packs are a nice relief for swelling and bruising.
● Due to slight swelling, brows may be slightly lifted and shifted.
● Hair strokes may seem spaced apart so that a powder effect does not form.
● Patchiness and color lightening will occur when the peel/ scab comes off.
● Blurred hair strokes can develop for those who are highly active, have very oily and/or porous skin, or have darker skin tones.
● The application of permanent cosmetics can be a 2-step procedure. Do not judge your procedure while in the healing stage. It may require a touch up.
● Microblading creates a natural, fuller brow effect; it does not replace a “made up” look.
● You will still need to groom/ wax/ thread your brows to maintain their shape. IMPORTANT AFTER CARE INFORMATION
After care is very important for producing lasting results. First 7-10 days: Keep pores SMALL. No working out or sweating. AVOID for first month:
Saunas
Pools and beaches
Sun exposure/ tanning
Anti-aging and anti-acne products and treatments on your forehead
Day 1: For the next 24 hours try to keep your freshly Microbladed brows DRY! You may apply a thin layer of Cavilon durable barrier cream if it feels to grease, then you put to much! Day 2-3: Color will darken. Maintain facial hygiene, best to keep dry, you can apply a thin layer of Cavilon durable barrier cream after washing your face or showering. Apply 1 to 2 times a day for 5 days. If slight crust appears on pigmented surface, do not forcibly remove by picking or scratching! (Doing so will remove pigment along with crusting.) Brows are not considered healed until all crusting has exfoliated BY ITSELF. Day 4-10: Scabbing and itching will occur, do not pick or scratch. Allow it to flake off on its own. Color may begin to lighten 20 to 60% and become slightly softened and/or patchy. You can wear makeup until the touch up to even them out. Day 10 and onward: If you plan to be exposed to the sun, wear sunscreen once your brows have healed to protect them from fading. Resume to washing face as normal; however, use a very mild face wash, ie.
