Choosing a lash artist isn’t just about pretty photos online — it’s about your eye health, safety, and knowing the person working near your eyes is properly trained and legally operating! 👀✨

In Arizona, lash artists working from home are REQUIRED BY THE STATE to have:
✔️ A valid state eyelash technician registration license
✔️ An establishment license (yes, even if working from home)
✔️ A clean, sanitary workspace
✔️ Proper disinfection practices
✔️ A separate sink BESIDES the restroom sink for sanitation purposes
✔️ Proper storage for clean and dirty tools
✔️ Covered trash containers
✔️ Clean linens and sanitary supplies
✔️ Licenses visibly posted where clients can see them
✔️ A professional workspace SEPARATED from normal household activity

⚠️Things clients should pay attention to:
• Pets roaming throughout lash room
• Dirty tools or unclean bedding
• Food/drinks near service areas
• Children frequently running in and out during services
• Cluttered or unsanitary workspaces
• Artists unwilling to show licensing

A cute lash room does NOT always mean it’s legal or safe.

When choosing a lash artist, don’t be afraid to ask:
• Are you licensed with the state? (Not just "certified". Anyone can get a certificate, you need a License to lash)
• Is your home studio licensed?(establishment license)
• How do you disinfect your tools?
