Baby’s first haircut is one of my favorite little salon milestones.

We take our time, work around wiggles, distractions, and whatever mood our tiny client happens to arrive with that day. 😉 There is absolutely no expectation that a toddler is going to sit perfectly still in a salon chair!

A few little snips, a keepsake lock of hair and a First Haircut certificate for the baby book…and suddenly they look approximately three years older. 😭

Because a first haircut isn’t just a haircut—it’s one of those little milestones you want to remember. 🤍

One of the things I love about working with curly hair is discovering what’s hiding underneath all that length and frizz.

For this transformation, I used a wet razor-cutting technique, followed by a curl-styling routine to bring out her natural curl pattern and create a beautiful new shape.

These are MY nails, eight weeks after removing my acrylics! 🤍

When I first took them off, my natural nails were incredibly thin and brittle. They needed time to grow out, and I actually continued using gel temporarily while they were so fragile.

When a March snowstorm threatened to complicate one bride’s big day, I made arrangements to stay near her venue the night before. She didn’t even know I’d done it!
