It’s a space to Renew You- emotionally, mentally, and spiritually- after grief has changed you.

Grief can make you feel like you’re stuck in a place you never asked to be. Some days you may feel strong, and other days simply getting through the day may feel like an accomplishment. Give yourself permission to grieve at your own pace.

You don’t have to “get over” your loss. You learn to carry the love, the memories, and the moments with you while slowly finding your way forward.

There will be days when you laugh again, and you may even feel guilty for being happy. Don’t feel guilty. Your joy does not mean you’ve forgotten them. It means their love is still part of you.

When the pain feels heavy:

* Take it one day at a time.
* Give yourself grace.
* Talk about the person you miss.
* Cry when you need to cry.
* Rest when you need to rest.
* Hold on to the good memories.
* Pray when you don’t have the words.
* Remember that healing is not forgetting.

Grief changes you in ways words can’t always explain. Losing someone you love is hard enough, but dealing with hurt from family while you’re already grieving can make the journey even heavier. There are days when I feel stuck, unable to move forward with my life. The brain fog from depression makes it difficult to focus, make decisions, or even feel like myself.

Still, I refuse to give up.

My faith reminds me that even when I can’t see the way forward, God is walking beside me. Gospel music has become the soundtrack that lifts my spirit when my heart feels too heavy to carry. Prayer gives me strength when I have none left and peace when my mind is overwhelmed.

Healing isn’t always quick, and it isn’t always easy. Some days, simply getting through the day is a victory. I’m learning to give myself grace, trust God’s timing, and believe that joy will return.

If you’re carrying grief, family hurt, depression, or simply feel stuck, know that you’re not alone. Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep holding on. God is still working, even in the middle of your pain.

Three words from my counselor that had stuck with me

CIRCUMSTANCES- What happened ( My husband transitioned)

REALITY- You can’t change it

CHOICES- What are you going to do about it?

Think about those three words and incorporate them into your life.

It’s time to RENEW Y💔U 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

I’m really struggling with staying on task because of the losses I’ve taken. Mentally unable to think about it without crying. I’ve had two family members to transition in May. I want to talk with you all without crying but the tears won’t stop falling. 😥💔

Putting pieces of my heart together and pieces keep falling off. Crying in a room full of people and still feeling alone.

STAY PRAYED UP 🙏🏾
PRAY FOR ME AND I WILL PRAY FOR YOU 🙏🏾
