I wanted to share my recent experience with Pizza Hut on North 98 and DoorDash so others can be aware.

I placed a cash order for pizza and paid the DoorDash driver. He was supposed to return with my change, but he never did. Since then, I’ve been trying to get this resolved, and I’ve been bounced back and forth between DoorDash and Pizza Hut, with each saying the other is responsible. As of now, I still have not received my change.

I’m not telling anyone not to order from Pizza Hut or DoorDash. I am encouraging everyone to have the exact cash amount if you’re paying at the door. If you expect change back, be sure you understand who is responsible before handing over your money.

This has been a frustrating experience, and I hope both companies work together to resolve situations like this so customers aren’t left without answers.

I could really use some advice from fellow business owners.

I own True KQingdom Hair on the north side of Lakeland, and I've been feeling discouraged lately.

Whenever I visit another beauty supply store to buy inventory or get inspiration, I'll watch one register or one product line generate more sales in an hour than my entire store does in a full day. It makes me wonder what I'm missing.

I'm grateful to be the only beauty supply store on this side of Lakeland, but my store is still too quiet. The sales aren't coming in fast enough for me to keep expanding my inventory the way I want to. I know advertising is part of the answer, but I feel like there has to be more to it.

What changed everything for you?
Was it marketing, product selection, customer experience, social media, events, or something else?
If you walked into my store today, what would make you come back—and what would make you tell your friends?

I'm open to honest, constructive feedback. I'm not giving up. I believe in my business, and I know it can become what I envision. I just know I don't have all the answers yet, and I'm willing to learn from people who've been where I am.
