This week, our leadership team had the privilege of attending The Fill, and Monica was able to support Go Red for the American Heart Association alongside our dear friend Andrea and the incredible team at S&T Bank, so sad I had to miss this but I was there in spirit!✨

Moments like these are such a reminder of why we do what we do. We’re beyond grateful for the people surrounding us — especially the strong, inspiring women who continue to walk into our lives exactly when they’re meant to. The connections being made, the encouragement shared, and the genuine love poured into one another means more than we could ever put into words.

We truly love this community and every single person in it. Thank you for continuing to show up, support, connect, and grow with us. ✨

This industry saved my life.

Growing up I hated school. I was maybe a C student at best and constantly felt like I just didn’t fit into traditional learning. Then I found cosmetology — and for the first time in my life I felt SEEN.

This craft changed everything for me. It showed me my brain was worthy, creative, capable, and intelligent… just different.

Today I own three companies, one inside a Marriott, another tied to a casino partnership, and my salon even landed on the cover of Salon Today. None of that would’ve happened without cosmetology school, education, and LICENSING.

This industry creates opportunity for creatives like me who just needed to find their purpose. Please help protect that for future generations. Someday your child may be the creative who just needs one chance to find where they belong. 🤍

Last week was officially my first full week away from the salon… and wow, I miss you all more than you know. 🤍

At the same time, I’m so excited to finally share that Drift Spa Chicago is coming together SO beautifully. Every inch of this space is being built with so much hard work, love, intention, and heart behind it, and seeing the vision come to life has been incredibly emotional for me.

I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you. Thank you to every single guest who has supported me through every chapter of this journey — from the guests who have sat in my chair since the very beginning of my career 25 years ago, to the ones who have joined our family along the way. Your loyalty, trust, love, and encouragement have truly helped build this dream.

I promised I would keep you all updated, so this is just the beginning. 🖤 We are working nonstop behind the scenes getting ready for our BIG opening on June 24th, and I cannot wait to continue sharing this journey with you all. More details, sneak peeks, and photos coming soon.

I also know stepping away, even temporarily, has been hard for some of you, and I don’t take that lightly. But I need to give the biggest shoutout and thank you to my incredible Envy Studio team for absolutely holding it down while I’m away. You girls + London are amazing, and I truly could not do any of this without you. Watching all of us continue to grow together is one of the greatest gifts of my life.

Thank you all for allowing me the time and space to pour into a project that is so close to my heart. I love you all endlessly and cannot wait to continue building these dreams together. 🤍
