Your hair is not separate from the rest of your body.
When someone sits in my chair with thinning, shedding, breakage, or loss of density, I’m not just looking at the hair in front of me.
I’m looking at what may have changed before the hair changed.
Postpartum shedding, GLP-1 medications, rapid weight loss, hormonal shifts, PMOS, thyroid imbalance, stress, autoimmune hair conditions, trichotillomania recovery, old bleach damage, traction, and prior extension damage can all affect what the hair can support.
This is why The 6-Cause Restoration Method™ matters.
Before choosing extensions, color, coverage, or a restoration option, we start with The Discovery. I assess your density, scalp comfort, hair history, lifestyle, and long-term goals so the plan is built around your actual hair.
Restoration is a process, not a guess.

Your reaction is my emotional support service at this point. I’m obsessed with you being obsessed 🎀✨
Come for the hair, stay for the life update session 🎀✨
There is something so special about doing someone’s hair while they feel comfortable enough to just be themselves for a few hours.
Hills I will die on as a hairstylist 🙃
1. Good hair is not supposed to only look good in the salon mirror.
If it falls flat the second you leave, we need to talk about the finish.
2. Scalp care matters more than people want to admit.
Buildup, shedding, oily roots, dry ends, dull hair… it all starts somewhere.
3. Extensions should not hurt.
Tight does not mean secure. It means I’m stressed for you.
4. Your consultation matters.
I need to know your hair history, your daily routine, what you hate, what you love, and what you’re secretly scared to say out loud.
5. Hair extensions are not about making your hair “long.”
They’re about giving you fullness, confidence, and hair that does not feel see-through anymore.
6. If your hair has been through bleach, breakage, or a bad install, we are not pretending that didn’t happen.
We’re just making a better plan this time.
7. The blend is everything.
I will absolutely stare at your hair from 12 angles until it makes sense.
8. Pretty hair is cute. Pretty hair that works for your life is the whole point ✨

here’s the part of extensions nobody talks about 🙃 the hair doesn’t always just come out of a bag matching you perfectly. sometimes i have to custom color it to your tone, your dimension, your highlights, so it actually blends instead of just sitting there looking like extensions. it’s tedious, it’s my favorite part, and it’s the difference between “are those extensions?” and “wait, that’s all your hair?” 🤍
Let me be honest with you.
If your hair is thinning, fragile, or has already been through postpartum shedding, GLP-1 changes, hormonal shifts, chemical damage, or a past extension experience that left you nervous, your fear makes sense.
You are not being dramatic for wanting to know if extensions will make things better or worse.
This is why the method cannot be chosen from a photo alone.
Fragile hair needs a plan that looks at density, scalp comfort, strand strength, placement, weight, maintenance, and what your hair can realistically support.
Extensions are not an automatic no for thinning hair, but they are a no without the right consultation framework.
That is exactly why I use The 6-Cause Restoration Method™ inside The Discovery. We identify what may be contributing to your hair changes first, then choose the restoration option that makes the most sense for your hair.

Me trying to be supportive while already knowing how this story ends 😂
listen… you can absolutely take a break from extensions, but we both know the second you wash, dry, and style your natural hair again you’re going to miss the fullness.
and honestly? same. I get attached too 🙃
For my GLP-1 girlies… listen, I’m saying this with love 🎀👇
When your body is losing weight quickly, your hair can be one of the first places that shows it. Not always right away either. A lot of women notice shedding a few months later, right when they feel like everything else is changing.
Nutrition, iron and vitamin levels, stress, hormones, and how much you’re eating can all play a part in how your hair holds up, which is exactly the kind of thing worth checking in with your doctor about too.
And externally? We need to be careful too.
This may not be the season for aggressive lightening, rough brushing, skipping scalp care, or pretending your extensions do not need extra love. Your hair needs support from both sides.
That does not mean panic. It means pay attention, ask better questions, and make a plan that fits what your hair can handle right now.

Before extensions, your hair may have already been fine, fragile, or changing in density.
But once the wrong method is added, the hair can be placed under stress it was never meant to support.
That is when clients start noticing more breakage, thinner ends, scalp discomfort, sparse areas, or the feeling that they somehow have less hair than they started with.
The issue is not always “extensions ruined my hair.”
A lot of the time, the issue is that the method, weight, placement, or maintenance plan was not chosen around the hair’s actual density and condition.
This is why The Discovery matters.
Before I choose K-tips, tape-ins, wefts, a hybrid install, or any restoration option, I assess your natural density, scalp comfort, hair history, lifestyle, and what your hair can safely support.
This is exactly why I use The 6-Cause Restoration Method™. We identify what may be contributing to the hair changes first, then build the plan from there.
