Summer Safety - Pool Safety 🛟 Playtime in the pool is a summer favorite but water safety must be a priority.
🛟Designate a "Water Watcher" - assign an adult to focus only on the kids - no phones or reading.
🛟Keep rescue equipment nearby and have a phone available for emergencies.
🛟Enroll children in swim lessons as early as possible to build survival skills.

Summer Safety - Fireworks and Sparklers 🎆 The holiday weekend is finally here and one of the best parts of the celebration is watching the fireworks. Keep safety at the forefront of your plans!
⚠️ Never allow young children to handle fireworks.
⚠️ Sparklers burn at about 2,000 degrees! According to the National Fire Protection Association, sparklers account for 29% of firework injuries for children under the age of 5.
⚠️ Consider using safer alternatives , such as glow sticks, confetti poppers or colored streamers for children.
⚠️ Never use fireworks while impaired by drugs or alcohol.
⚠️ Keep a bucket of water nearby to fully extinguish fireworks that don't go off as expected or in case of fire.
⚠️ Never use illegal fireworks.
