Lola's Design Salon

Twenty years ago, my mom and I bought Lola’s Design Salon together, beginning a chapter that would become such a big part of my life. For the second half of those 20 years, she’s been enjoying retirement in Florida, but she will always be part of Lola’s story. ❤️

A special thank-you to my mom for taking that leap with me and helping build the foundation for everything Lola’s has become. Sharing that beginning with you makes this anniversary even more meaningful.

Looking back today, what means the most to me is the people who have walked through our doors.

You’ve trusted us with so much more than your hair. You’ve shared your wedding plans, pictures of your babies and grandbabies, your accomplishments, and your everyday stories. We’ve laughed together, shed tears together, and talked through loss, divorce, and some of life’s hardest days. Those moments and friendships mean more to me than I can put into words.

To everyone who has sat in our chairs, recommended us to a friend, or supported us along the way—thank you. Whether you’ve been with us for years or just recently found us, I’m grateful you’re here.

And to the wonderful women who have helped make Lola’s what it is, thank you for your talent, hard work, and the care you give our clients.

Owning a business has its challenges, but you give me so many reasons to keep going. I’m proud to have spent these 20 years serving downtown Lapeer, and even more grateful for the friendships we’ve built.
