Two years ago today, I had my first day of cosmetology school, and I never imagined I’d be where I am today. 🤍

To some, being an assistant at a salon might seem like a small step, but to me, it’s something I’m incredibly grateful for. I’m at the starting line of my career, learning from amazing mentors and working alongside people who inspire me every day. I know that every step of this journey will be worth it in the end.

I owe so much of this to my mom, who pushed me to get my license and encouraged me to pursue something I’m truly passionate about. To my husband, thank you for always being my biggest fan and believing in me. And to my son, thank you for being the little person who motivates me to keep pushing myself and always do my best.

Two years in, and I’m just getting started. ✨ Here’s to trusting the process, staying grateful, and continuing to grow.

Today, I embarked on a new chapter as an assistant hairstylist at The Beauty Bar by Amy &Joe !I’m so incredibly grateful for this opportunity—this is just the beginning, and I’m excited for everything ahead. It may seem like a small step, but it means everything to me. Every moment is a chance to learn, grow, and get closer to the goals I’ve been working toward.

I’m especially thankful to the salon for taking a chance on me, even without experience, and for wanting to pour into me, teach me, and help me grow.
