Not because we hit some unrealistic Pinterest photo exactly—but because we took the hair as far as it was willing to go without sacrificing its integrity.
One of the biggest misconceptions about color corrections is that the goal is to get the perfect shade in one appointment, no matter what. It isn't. My job is to read what the hair is telling me and know when to stop. Sometimes that means we're exactly on target. Sometimes it means we're a shade away from the "dream color" because keeping your hair healthy will always be more important than chasing the last 5%.
Healthy hair gives us another appointment. Compromised hair doesn't.

Managing expectations is one of the most important parts of this process. I'd rather send you home with beautiful, strong hair that's 95% of the way there than fried hair that needs to be cut off.
