Tear film breakup time (TBUT) is a clinical test that measures how long your tears stay on your eye to keep it wet and safe. A normal time is 10 seconds or more. A time under 10 seconds means your tears are weak. A time under 5 seconds points to severe dry eyes.
This patient was experiencing severe dry eyes. Following Radio Frequency Dry Eye Treatment in combination with Meibomian Gland Expressions, this patient’s symptoms greatly reduced.
