I am Venezuelan, and my heart hurts for my country. But beyond borders and flags, watching people suffer hurts us all. Today, I ask you to join me in prayer for Venezuela—for the families grieving, the rescuers helping with their own hands, and for hope to remain stronger than fear. May we stand united in faith, compassion, and humanity.

Heavenly Father,
Today we lift Venezuela into Your hands.
We pray for every family grieving the loss of a loved one, for the children who are scared and hurting, for the elderly who feel vulnerable, and even for the animals who have been affected by this tragedy. Surround them with Your comfort, Your protection, and Your peace.
We pray for the rescuers, first responders, medical teams, volunteers, and every person working tirelessly with their own hands to save lives and help others. Give them strength when they are exhausted, courage when they feel overwhelmed, and protection as they continue their work.
We give thanks for the countries, organizations, and individuals who have extended a hand to help. May compassion continue to cross borders and remind us that humanity is strongest when we stand together.
May this be a moment of unity, love, kindness, and care for one another. A moment where differences disappear and the value of every human life comes first.
Lord, help us never lose faith, never lose hope, and never stop praying. Even in the darkest moments, let Your light shine through the goodness of people helping people.
As a Venezuelan, my heart hurts deeply today. But beyond nationality, no one should ever become indifferent to human suffering. Pain belongs to all of us, and so does compassion.
May we remain united for the love of humanity, for the love of our neighbors, and for the love of Venezuela.
