The funniest part of my hair journey? I started out as a braider. After graduating college and starting my first full-time job, I didn’t have the time or energy to braid anymore, so I shifted into sew-ins, wigs, and eventually bridal hairstyling.
Now I’m chuckling because who would’ve thought I’d become a ‘natural hairstylist’? It wasn’t a title I pictured for myself, but natural hair care and scalp therapy have become two of the most popular services at DivineHairCare.
I still offer sew-ins, custom wigs, and bridal hair, but over the last seven months, this shift has taught me so much about caring for our God-given hair texture. I’ve grown to appreciate natural hair in a whole new way.
All that to say: it’s okay to pivot. Sometimes the change you didn’t plan for becomes the blessing you didn’t know you needed. 🤍
