Hello everyone!
I’ve made it thru the first two weeks after surgery. Pain level is already down to a 3! The crazy part is how jumpy your leg gets as the nerves come alive again. All and all I’m doing great! Stay cool!

Surgery date set for July 13th..

I hope everyone is doing good. Thinking of you all!
Looks like in about 3 weeks I’ll be getting my right hip done! By the end of the year I should be jumping all over!

Kidney stone surgery was a success. The surgeon even found more and removed them as well. Left kidney is good for awhile I hope! I have a stint in that the surgeon will have to go back in and remove in 3 weeks. Then back to my favourite ortho to schedule the right hip! Seems 2026 is all about trying to put me back together. Love to all.. stay strong out there!

Jury duty? Well, I hobble myself in there😂 check in. Wait to be assigned a judge. I get the 4th judge ( can’t remember her name) I am juror 1 which means I will have a interview by lawyers🙄we assemble into the next assembly room in our groups when our bailiff says the judge wishes to speak to us. ( what fresh hell will this be?)
The judge thanks us for coming in and serving. Then she proceeds to tell us that all 8 cases on her docket for the week have decided to settle out of court! We are excused for the week! A cheer erupts! Although I felt bad for all the other people who were still there for other judges. I tried to go and see my oldest ( he works in communications) he was busy so I high tailed it out of there. 😂 hopefully I’m good for about 4 to 5 years!

Well hasn’t this been the most beautiful spring! Keeping everyone updated. My kidney stone surgery is on the 28th. Then 4 to 6 six after I will get my right hip done! I should be a new woman then! Looking forward to feeling better and stronger. Love to all!
And just for fun I have jury duty the week of the 18th.. at least I’ll get to see my oldest at work.

Hello to everyone. My hip is healing nicely! I can’t believe it’s only been 8 weeks. Now I can stand up from sitting without help! But something crazy has happened this past Monday I had awful pain under my left rib cage a stabbing burning kind of pain. It lasted all day when my husband got home I said I think we need to go to the hospital! We go to Northside Gwinnett. After 12 hours ( they were very busy) they discovered I have kidney stone. It hasn’t moved as of today. I’m drinking water. Going to doctor. Maybe they can blast it? First time for this craziness!

Well I can walk most of the time now without a cane. A little slow first thing in the morning. Doing the PT helps so much!! But for some added fun somewhere Probably the grocery store I caught an upper respiratory bug. That is almost gone now. So then let’s add some pollen! I’ll be inside!

Hello everyone! I went to the ortho yesterday for my check up. Doctor said no more restrictions that I am doing great! Making him look good. Unfortunately the right side is hurting. We discussed when I can have the second one done. He said in May or anytime after that. I’ve decided to not work in between. Standing hurts the right side to much. I hope everyone has a wonderful blessed Easter! Thank you for the sweet prayers. ❤️
