YESS SIS, always!!

We start with a custom mood board I create just for you, that we dissect and discuss at length.

But still, pictures we like on a mood board don’t always translate exactly how we’d like onto ourselves, so often there are moments that we will need to collaborate through with your hair and makeup.

I always tell my clients & brides that you will not hurt my feelings, that it’s your look to wear, and my only goal is to ensure you feel confident!!

Collaboration is absolutely necessary to meet that goal!

Now let’s all listen to how wonderfully forthcoming this gorgy Bride was at her Preview! She was kind, respectful, inquisitive when she was unsure, and we were able to get her to the final goal!!

Tomorrow I’ll post her final look from her wedding day and tell you the slight changes I made to ensure the look for her bridal debut was even better than her Preview 🫶🏻

Bridal Previews are the ultimate vibe check & I LOVE IT!!!

My brides have their Bridal Previews included in their package so it never feels like an “add-on”. It’s the peace of mind many of them need a few months before wedding day to make final decisions on what their bridal debut will be.

It’s also my absolute fav day to spend with you!! We’re chilling, joking, talking and getting to know one another in a way that the wedding day often doesn’t allow (I’d rather you enjoy your loved ones and chat with them!! Many of them traveled so far to celebrate you!!), and I get to do what I love 🫶🏻

So thank you for that—for supporting me as I transitioned to doing this full time this year (and had a baby!! So many Brides this year met me pregnant and then had their weddings while I was healing postpartum), trusted me with your vision, and a special, special thank you for the bride who took such great care of me while freshly postpartum by making sure I could transport my pumped breastmilk home to my girly using frozen sticks of butter as the ice packs—a triumph!! You know who you are queen 🥰🥰

So yeah, I’m getting to know you very well if you’re one of my brides, well enough that our respect and care for one another is more than mutual 🫶🏻

There’s a first time for everything. I’m proud to say this was my first ever blowout for a bride and DAYYYUUUMMM IT ATE!!

Honestly, that’s all I came to say.
It’s okay to be new to something.
It’s okay to say yes when you’re unsure (if you know you can get there/deliver despite needing to learn to fill in the gap!).
It’s okay to share your journey with others 🫶🏻

👆🏻All that? Oh yeah, that’s just me writing to myself. Reminding myself that my journey is not linear, and that being new to something does not make me inferior when I’m the kind of girl to lock in
