We won't win the fight with aging , but we will die trying !

Working out with my teenage,
Everyone thinks I’m building memories.
I’m building muscle.
His… so he appreciates strength early.
Mine… so he never has to change my diapers.
This isn’t family bonding.
It’s a long-term retirement strategy.

Your makeup SPF is not your sunscreen.
There. I said it. Somebody had to ruin the fantasy.
Yes, SPF in foundation, CC cream, tinted moisturizer, or powder can add a little extra protection.
Extra.
Not primary.
Not enough.
Not «I’m covered, let me go live my best rotisserie chicken life.»
To get the SPF written on the label, you’d need to apply a ridiculous amount of makeup. Like, stage makeup for a funeral clown amount.
Nobody does that.
Nobody should do that.
And your pores would probably file a complaint.
Powder SPF? Same story. Even the brands selling it usually say it should be used with real sunscreen, not instead of it.
The rule is still boring and annoying because biology has no respect for our convenience:
Two fingers lengths of sunscreen for your face and neck.
Real sunscreen.
Enough product.
Applied properly.
Reapplied
Makeup SPF is the cute little backup dancer.
Sunscreen is the main performer.
Protect your face like you paid for it.
Because you did, many times, I know , remember I was on receiving end 😉

GLP-1 drugs shrink fat — but up to 30% of the weight you lost is muscle, not fat. Muscle is the structural layer underneath. When it goes, everything above it — fat, fascia, skin — loses its foundation. That's why you look deflated, not just smaller. The dermis was already sitting on damaged architecture. Now the support underneath it is gone too.
You didn't fail. You obeyed. You did exactly what they told you to — and the mirror punished you for finishing. That's not vanity. It's the bill for a plan no one finished writing.
No device fixes structural collapse. Resistance training does — it thickens the dermis itself, not just the surface. Protein does. Rebuilding takes longer than losing did.

First time on TV and I was sure I’d freeze. Spent days preparing perfect answers… he didn’t ask a single one of them 😅 Turns out you can’t prepare your way out of a conversation — you just have to show up and talk. Full interview coming soon. 🎬

A client told me today that my posture is beautiful and that I move with so much grace.
First of all — thank you.
Second of all — you should’ve seen the factory settings.
I did not arrive on this planet graceful.
My teacher once told me I walked like I was trying to smash bugs.
Heavy steps. Rounded shoulders. Forward head. Full «Soviet border patrol, but make it Botox.»
So I trained it.
Not in some poetic ballet studio with soft lighting and emotional piano music.
In the gym.
Between sets.
In the mirror.
For a year.

Shoulders down and back.
Chin parallel to the floor.
Legs on one line.
Knees straight.
Step like you’re jumping over a puddle.

Over and over and over again.
Yes, people at my gym have absolutely seen me doing my little runway walks between deadlifts.
Yes, it probably looks like I’m deeply in love with myself.
No, they do not ask questions.
I have a Slavic face. It handles security for me.
But here’s the thing: posture is not «natural.» Grace is not «genetics.» Movement is trained.
You can train your body.
You can train how you enter a room.

And sometimes the difference between «she’s so elegant» and «she’s hunting cockroaches with her feet» is one year of looking insane in the gym mirror.
Nothing about aging is 'natural.' It's trained

Worth it.

Summer is slow for aesthetics because everyone decided skin care is a fall problem. It is not.
Here's what I actually do in summer.
Microneedling. My own booster protocol. Botox. That's the whole menu. No, I don't do facials. You can buy a sheet mask on Amazon and lie to yourself at home for $9.
And the Botox thing nobody tells you: squinting in the sun all day is how forehead lines get carved in for good. A little before your trip and your face physically can't make the wrinkle. You come back with fewer lines than you left with.
Try explaining that to your friend who «doesn't believe in it.»
The move is simple. Come see me two weeks before vacation. We make your skin resilient before the sun gets a vote. You come back glowing instead of repairing, and in fall we barely have to work, because the damage just… didn't happen.

What's in the protocol? Mine. You don't need the recipe. You need the result.
Two weeks before your trip. Book before you're back and panicking

Everyone says, «I love your haircut.»

Thank you. But let’s be honest — this man doesn’t just cut my hair.

He shaves, sculpts, edits, and landscapes my head into something that looks intentional instead of «escaped from a weather event.»

My haircut is part of my brand now.

So technically, he’s not my hairdresser.
He’s brand maintenance. ✂️😂

The 'glow' you feel after a beauty drip is water. You were a little dehydrated, they filled you up, your skin looks plumper for a day — and by tomorrow it's gone, with your money. The vitamins? Your body takes the pinch it needs and flushes the rest down the toilet.

You didn't buy a glow. You bought a saline bag and the most expensive urine of your week.

You cannot store beauty in your bloodstream. There is no glow drip. There is hydration and theater.
And the 'anti-aging' bag — there isn't a single real study showing those infusions make a healthy person younger, firmer, or brighter. Not one outcome trial. The brightening glutathione they push? It's not approved for skin at all — and pumped into your veins it can actually weaken your skin's own sun protection. You paid to look better and bought something that may age you faster.

Every summer the same magical article appears:

«Lasers can be done safely in summer.»

Sure.
In «safe conditions.»
Which means: no real sun exposure, perfect SPF, no tanning, no beach, no lake, no patio sitting, no sweating, no forgetting to reapply, no «I was only outside for ten minutes.»

So basically… safe conditions that do not exist for normal humans in summer.

Let me make my position very clear:

If the treatment burns the epidermis, strips the epidermis, heats the epidermis, injures the epidermis, or creates controlled damage to the skin barrier — it is out of the question.
That includes «light» versions people try to sell because the schedule is empty.

I don’t care how cute the marketing sounds.

Once you injure the skin, you make it vulnerable.
Then summer brings UV, heat, sweat, inflammation, and pigment cells with a revenge fantasy.

That is not skincare.
That is gambling with your face.
If a provider tells you lasers and peels are totally fine in summer because «you just need SPF» — run. Fast.
Preferably into the shade.
Summer is for protection, hydration, barrier repair, maintenance, and not doing stupid things to your epidermis.

Today my son was promoted to the next level of fitness.

Unfortunately, the promotion came with suffering.

Leg day with Mom.

I call it quality time.
He calls it a violation of human rights.

We’re both correct. 😌
