Toned at the bowl with Davines view 6,0 at the root.

10vol for both.

Unless you go HARD with the blue/purple/grey pigmented shampoos or conditioners.

Artificial grey tones created in the salon will ALWAYS fade.

Bummer, I know.

They can help you achieve your goal of blending your natural grey. And possibly getting to the point where you no longer need to color.

But they are temporary 100% of the time.

Nonetheless, I’ve had clients maintain the grey tone beautifully at home with counteracting shampoos and conditioners.

There are SO many routes to have a graceful grow out with your color.

Everyone’s journey looks different depending on their end goal.

And hey, you’re end goal is allowed to change too! That’s the fun part about color!

But if you go to the salon to get artificial grey color added to your hair, it will fade warm. 100% if the time. It’s science.

I used a level 5 acidic demi with 15vol on her roots to blend her grey. Add tiny highlights with 20vol. Then tone with an ashy level 7 acidic demi with 10vol. All Davines color.

Highlights- Davines Progress lightener 10vol. On scalp around her face. Airtouch everywhere else.
Lowlights- Davines Present Time alkaline demi permanent 8,1 with 7vol.
Toning- Davines view acidic demi permanent. Roots, 10g 8,0 + 10g 8,1 + 5vol. Ends 10,21 + 5vol.

Depth & dimension make a blonde more interesting imo.
