Found this in my drafts 😂💕
I was indeed feeling myself 🤣 😌💇🏾♀️✨

I used to use grocery bags as shower caps on a regular basis 😭 We really didn’t spend money on shower caps back then, so this grocery bag method is nothing new 😂🛍️
I swear I always come back to this loc style 😭 just two front locs tied in the back and somehow it always works. Simple, comfortable, quick, and still cute every single time. Sometimes the easiest styles really become your signature look 🤎
I went from having a bald spot to finally seeing new growth… and I’ve been consistent with my natural hair routine.
In this video, I’m using my homemade hair growth oil and testing pumpkin seed oil on one side. Pumpkin seed oil has been studied for its potential to support hair growth because it may help block DHT (a hormone linked to hair loss).
This is not an overnight fix — just real results from consistency, scalp care, and paying attention to what works.
I’m going to keep documenting this so we can really see the difference over time.
I realized I do this same style every time I wear my hair in mini twists, locs, or single braids…
If you wear twists, locs, or braids… you probably have that one go-to style too 😭
Oh by the way….. my mini twists tutorial is on YouTube ➡️Tola Revamps
this isn’t just about making oil…
it’s about understanding why your hair isn’t responding the way you want it to
a lot of people are layering products but still dealing with dryness, breakage, and no real growth
sometimes it’s not the products… it’s that your scalp isn’t being properly nourished
infusing oils with herbs allows the oil to actually carry nutrients that support your scalp and hair over time
and once I started focusing on that… my whole routine changed
this is just one small part of me learning what my hair actually needs instead of guessing
Not me having a “I don’t like it” phase every single time… just to love it in the end 😭
I had a bald spot… and this is my growth so far.
I’ve been consistent with my homemade hair oil, and I’m now incorporating pumpkin seed oil to see if it makes a difference.
Both oils are known to support scalp health — pumpkin seed oil may help block DHT (a hormone linked to hair loss), while my DIY oil helps nourish and moisturize my scalp.
This is just the beginning… I’m documenting everything.
Using this applicator bottle from Amazon made applying my flaxseed gel so much easier. It helps control the mess during application. The gel is super slippery, and this applicator bottle goes exactly where I need the product to go.
Flaxseed gel adds slip for easier detangling and leaves my hair soft and moisturized.
Honestly… this works way better than conditioner for me. I always apply it before shampooing.
