What a year this has been for my salon, my personal life, and our overall growth. In September my Salon turned 2 years old. That first year was all about building and hustling. That all changed when I got pregnant and had my baby girl. Everything fell to the wayside as I navigated postpartum depression and being a first time mom with a business and a career. I was hit with several challenges over the last year but I believe God uses every challenge an an opportunity to grow. Now that I’ve settled in to this new life I’ve been able to focus on building the atmosphere in the salon that I’ve always wanted. Every day comes with it’s ups and downs but I’m so thankful for my clients who have stuck with me over the years, the girls who work with me for being patient with my constant redecorating and organizing, and my Husband who endlessly ends up being our handy man and never complains about it. lol.
