Well, our friends at Bamboo Teri House were broken into last night. Vandals smashed their front door and trashed the counter area. Local spots like this are the heart of our community, and seeing this happen hurts, but we know how strong this community is when we show up for each other.

A massive thank you to everyone who came out to rock with us at the Concert in the Park(ing Lot) this past Monday! It was incredible seeing so many neighbors dancing, laughing, and catching up. If you missed (or if you’re already wanting more) mark your calendars right now: our final Concert in the Park(ing Lot) of the season will be returning on August 10th. Let's make the grand finale the biggest one yet!

In the meantime, the community momentum isn't slowing down for a second. This weekend is absolutely packed with things to do. Because the massive, car-free Beach Streets event is taking over downtown Long Beach this Sunday, July 19th, we are skipping Kidical Mass this month and encourage everyone to pedal downtown instead. If you're looking for something fun tomorrow, Saturday, July 18th, the Historical Society of Long Beach is hosting a fascinating History Hangout diving into our city's lost landmarks.

We also have some incredible local business specials to take advantage of this week.
